At the whim of founder, Anton Newcombe, his Brian Jonestown Massacre band has delivered a wide range of music depending on mood. At times psychedelic, and at others a more folk style, or even experimental as the feeling goes, The Brian Jonestown Massacre has entertained with their seventeen albums since 1995’s Methodrone along with a handful of classic EPs and worthy singles. Their last album was Something Else, issued in mid-2018.

On March 15, Brian Jonestown Massacre will issue a self-titled set with nine new songs. The Brian Jonestown Massacre will be released on CD, DD, and vinyl LP. Brian Jonestown Massacre has recently played the Levitation Festivals along with newer psychedelia bands like The Black Angels, Mien, and a host of others. When we first met The Brian Jonestown Massacre some years ago in Anton's studio in Berlin, we were blown away by the bands' live sound and not able to record.
